Framingham, MA — December 6, 2004 – NMS Communications (NASDAQ: NMSS), a leading provider of technologies and solutions for enhanced services and efficient networks, and CreaLog, a leading European supplier of voice portal solutions, announced that 1-2-3.TV (www.1-2-3.tv), the completely new German interactive television shopping experience, is using CreaLog’s voice portal and CRM solution platform (www.crealog.com) with NMS’ Open Access™ platform (www.nmscommunications.com/OpenAccess) as the underlying architecture.

For the first time, German consumers can determine their own prices for a variety of products by using 1-2-3.TV, an auctionlike service described by CreaLog as similar to “eBay powershopping on TV.” Like typical home shopping networks, viewers are presented with a selection of items for sale, such as clothing, sporting goods, cosmetics, home improvement items, and gifts, but because the price shown is only a minimum to start the bidding process, the similarity ends there. Customers can then offer their maximum price by telephone using the high performance CreaLog voice portal and CRM solution, built on NMS' flexible, open, and highly scalable Open Access platform.

Germany’s 2nd Largest Telecom Provider Now Offering Hosted Solutions for Businesses, Handling Up to 100,000 Calls Per Minute for Tele-voting, Gaming Services

Services now offered by Arcor include:
  • Content management services, allowing businesses to update and manage content on their own campus server or use a web browser to deliver this content via web or phone in natural language through Arcor’s voice portal

A solution by the Voice portal specialist CreaLog helps the CSA - Czech airlines substantially to offer its customer a comprehensive 24h service. CreaLog realized at the Ruzyne airport in Prague a multilingual flight schedule information and booking system for the airline, which carries approximately 2.9 million passengers per year.

After an extensive test phase, which proved the superior recognition rate of the CreaLog Voice Portal, CSA bought this solution from CreaLog. Which is of great importance to CreaLog sales director Martin Vennik, because the CSA will offer their customer the new services in seven languages: "The Voice portal asks the customer e.g. for his destination or departure airport and the day of travel. It then gives the caller the desired travel details and allows to make a reservation.
