Accessible use of CreaLog solutions
CreaLog Platform 7 supports accessibility! To help companies provide accessible workplaces in IT administration and customer service, the administration interfaces of our solutions support people whose vision is impaired or who are blind.
As a first step, ‘High Contrast Mode’, with white text on a black background, helps these employees. But to let blind users operate the admin interfaces as well, CreaLog Telecom Platform 7 supports the NVDA and JAWS screen readers. All graphical control elements also carry matching alternative text (alt text). Additional ARIA labels (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) are added in the HTML code to further specify browser elements, providing information such as combo box, selection list, or text field.
This currently applies to CreaLog recording solutions; other user interfaces of CreaLog Platform 7 can be adapted for accessible use at any time.
All of this complies with legal requirements, since "No one may be disadvantaged because of a disability," as required by Article 3, Paragraph 3, of the German Basic Law (Grundgesetz). Further requirements are set out in Book Nine of the German Social Code (SGB IX), which covers all statutory provisions on the rehabilitation and participation of people with disabilities. www.bmas.de/DE/Themen/Teilhabe-Inklusion/Politik-fuer-behinderte-Menschen/sgb-ix-leistungen.html
