Equal educational opportunities from the start. CreaLog supports the Kick ins Leben foundation.

We would like to introduce you to the “Kick ins Leben” foundation, which we are happy to support this year. “Kick ins Leben” was founded by Dr. Günther Lamperstorfer and has championed equal opportunities in education for 12 years. Many children and young people do not have the same starting conditions on their educational path as others, which is still often linked to social background, their parents' educational background, and family migration histories. “Kick ins Leben” offers a range of projects for children and young people in München.

A support chain against educational inequality

Creating good starting conditions for children's educational journeys is the project's central goal. CreaLog deeply appreciates how “Kick ins Leben” makes education equally accessible to every child and supports them with genuine opportunities. The projects' success rests on a support chain that tackles educational inequality from the very start, accompanying and strengthening children from preschool and primary school, through secondary school, and on to career orientation. “Kick ins Leben” makes it possible to respond to individual gaps.

Early support through EKKIKOlino

The weekly EKKIKOlino support program focuses especially on language and reading skills. It supports preschoolers, children in daycare, and first-graders between four and eight years old. Children's language gaps are addressed so they can succeed in school and enjoy learning during the transition to primary school. School should be experienced as a positive place. The concept is designed to support the whole child and also seeks to involve parents and families in their children's schooling, encouraging them to help shape this path in a positive way.

For young people, career entry takes center stage

As children grow older, the focus shifts away from school and toward the transition into working life. “Kick ins Leben” aims to support young people's personal development, strengthening their self-confidence and building a solid set of values. Good career orientation depends on understanding the full range of career options available, something young people, and often their parents too, are frequently unaware of. The projects run under the heading “Perspectives” and start as early as 5th grade, introducing children, who are becoming teenagers, to the breadth of the job market. Alongside individualized support and help, for example in finding an internship, the foundation organizes the “JobGate” career fair twice a year, where companies and students can meet and network.

Unlocking potential and attracting new talent

The initiators behind the foundation's projects are committed to making sure the potential of these young people is not lost to society, to the job market, or to their own personal life stories. For us at CreaLog, too, it is immensely important to gain committed, well-trained young talent and to support the elimination of inequality. Our own business success is also built on diversity, and diversity requires equal opportunities for everyone.

Important goals – achieved

All children in München should get the same start on their educational journey. Education creates prospects, fosters self-determination, enables participation in society, and substantially shapes the future of children and young people. Since its founding in 2012, more than 18,000 children and young people have received a kick-start on their educational path and long-term support across more than 13 different projects, particularly at key transitions: first into school, then into secondary education, and finally into their own working lives. What matters most here is not to prescribe fixed paths, but to offer guidance and support, helping each child pave their own way by nurturing their individual development and revealing the many perspectives open to them – a compelling support chain and a dedicated foundation that stands for the future and for equality, which is exactly why we are especially glad to support it this year.
