Layer 8 - in the end, it's people who count

Why does CreaLog donate jerseys, shorts, and socks to a children's football club in Daglfing? Our project developer Mohamed Tiyani coaches children and teenagers here in his free time.

Layer 8 - in the end, it's people who count

And Daglfing is a special kind of place: since sports clubs are usually completely overrun, socioeconomically diverse neighborhoods like Daglfing have a particular need for leisure activities, sports clubs, and youth centers that support and look after children and teenagers. On top of that, the number of volunteers at sports clubs has dropped by around 10 percent over the past 20 years – a trend that surely reflects changing circumstances and demands in people's lives. The rising cost of living in big cities, which can easily leave families behind, plays a role too. All the better, then, when adults get involved and help give young people a playful introduction to rules and a sense of what team spirit means. Along with that, the feeling of being able to fill a role within a group, of having a place, and of working toward a shared goal.

We think it's great that our colleague – despite having a family of his own with three children – is committed to these children's future. And for that, and of course for the kids, who can finally train in matching jerseys and compete against other teams, we're happy to donate part of the equipment.

Thank you, Mohamed, for your effort and commitment!
