We want to introduce you to the "Kick into Life" foundation, which we are happy to support this year. "Kick ins Leben" was founded by Dr. Günther Lamperstorfer and is advocating for equal opportunities in education for 12 years. Many children and young people do not have the same starting conditions in their educational journey as others, which is often still linked to social background, parental education, and migration biographies. The services offered by "Kick ins Leben" are aimed at children and young people in Munich through various projects.
The central goal of the project is to create good starting conditions for children’s educational biographies. CreaLog greatly appreciates how "Kick into Life" makes education equally accessible and full of opportunities for all children. The success of the projects is based on a support chain that addresses educational inequality from the outset. It accompanies and strengthens children from preschool and primary school through secondary education to career orientation. "Kick into Life" enables individualized support to address specific deficits.
The weekly EKKIKOlino support program places a special focus on language and reading skills. This program supports preschool children, children in daycare facilities, and first-grade students aged four to eight. The aim is to balance the children’s linguistic deficits to ensure academic success and enjoyment in learning as they transition to primary school. The school should be perceived as a positive place. The concept is holistic, aiming to involve parents and families in their children’s educational journey and encouraging them to help shape this path positively.
As children grow older, the focus shifts from school to the transition into a career. "Kick into Life" aims to contribute to the development of young people through personality development, fostering self-confidence, and strengthening core values. Good career orientation is crucial, and it’s essential to learn about the wide range of career opportunities, which is often not known to young people or their parents. The projects are grouped under the "Perspectives" initiative, which starts in the 5th grade to introduce children, who are becoming adolescents, to the broad scope of the labor market. In addition to individualized support and assistance, such as finding internships, the foundation organizes the "JobGate" career fair twice a year, where companies and students can meet and network.
The initiators of the foundation’s projects advocate for ensuring that the potential of these young people is not lost to society, the labor market, or their own biographies. For CreaLog, it is also essential to have committed, well-trained young talent and to support the elimination of inequalities. Our company’s success is based on diversity, and diversity requires equal opportunities for all.
All children in Munich should have the same starting point on their educational journey. Education creates perspective, fosters self-determination, enables social participation, and significantly shapes the future of children and young people. Since its founding in 2012, more than 18,000 children and young people have received a boost in their educational path and long-term support, especially at crucial transitions — first into school, then secondary education, and finally into their own professional lives — through over 13 different projects. The key is not to prescribe paths but to offer guidance and support. By fostering individual development and showcasing diverse perspectives, young people can pave their own way. This compelling support chain and committed foundation stand for future and equality, which is why we are particularly happy to support them this year.
