The future of voice
A total of 231 business customers and telecommunications providers were surveyed as part of the study. The result: 66 percent of business customers see a 'greater importance' of voice applications in the future, and 45 percent of the experts surveyed at telecommunications providers share this assessment.
The current study by Prof. Dr. Jens Böcker and CreaLog makes it clear that the relevance of voice applications will continue to increase in the future.
Prof. Dr. Jens Böcker, Professor of Marketing at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, is not only known as the organizer and moderator of the Telecommunications Executive Circle (www.tec-deutschland.de), but is also active as a scientific advisor to the management and strategy consultancy Böcker Ziemen. Böcker is also chairman of the VATM Innovation Circle and co-founder of the initiative "Vernetzt Digital".
A well-known industry visionary, Böcker has already led numerous studies, and his word carries weight throughout the telecommunications industry. He classifies the first result of the study as follows: "Business customers appreciate the relevance of voice as a communication channel to their customers. And this channel must be kept open today and in the future to ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction. The different assessments of the telecommunications providers are the result of the changing importance of voice in the overall portfolio. Against this background, a reassessment of voice from the perspective of the TC providers is recommended."
