The CreaLog Online Telco Summit 2020 - Telco Portfolio for IMS and focus on new service models

With almost 100 participants from 19 European and African countries, the first Online Telco Summit at the end of October 2020 was a great success for all participants. And this was not only due to the relevant information for telecommunications companies and network operators, but also to the technically perfect and entertaining implementation in the brand new webcast studio of GMM AG in Munich. Among the most important topics of the Telco Summit were the extended CreaLog solution portfolio on the field-proven IMS Service Delivery Platform (SDP), the comprehensive cloud support and the extension of the service models to Solution-as-a-Service. Other highlights of the two hour Telco Summit included a detailed insight into Conversational IVR (VoiceBot) for Customer Care at A1 Telekom Austria by Robert Raab, Head of Contact Center Services. From Monaco Cyril Duhain, Marketing and Commercial Director of Monaco Telecom, commented on the successful launch of the net-centric CreaLog Call Recording solution.

How communication service providers enable new work concepts thanks to CreaLog

The ongoing corona pandemic is undoubtedly accelerating the digital transformation of the world of work. Telcos in particular are being called upon to provide the necessary technological infrastructure. This is because companies and their home office employees need reliably high bandwidth and easy access to tools such as recording solutions, e-learning or video conferencing. With the field-proven Service Delivery Platform for SIP applications in the IMS, CreaLog provides exactly this foundation. Based on standards, the platform supports all codecs and with the new IN Service Manager it makes resources available that can be quickly implemented by telcos into new, customized products and solutions.

CreaLog offers comprehensive cloud solutions

According to the current Cloud Monitor 2020 from Bitkom Research and KPMG, three out of four companies in Germany now use cloud computing. With its solutions CreaLog focuses on fully cloud-enabled building blocks, architecture and management (MANO). In addition to classic operating models, this enables virtualization in Telco's own cloud or the use of public cloud solutions such as AWS or Azure.

CreaLog Service: New dimensions of operational support

CreaLog now takes its operational support for telcos to a whole new level: CreaLog now also takes care of continuous monitoring, database operation, updates, and the entire backup infrastructure. In the full service model, support is completed by the operation of virtual or physical hardware, the entire network infrastructure, and housing. Thus CreaLog has a comprehensive portfolio, from full operational support to Solution-as-a-Service.

Flexible business models reduce time-to-market

The challenges for telecommunications providers and network operators are many and varied, and in some cases differ significantly. However, the reduction of investments and operating costs (CAPEX/OPEX) plus time-to-market are always an essential aspect. CreaLog also offers flexible business models that exactly fit to each requirement profile. Purchase or pay-per-use models are just as feasible as revenue share or direct cost/direct billing solutions.
